hahaha. Basically this sums up my life.
I always lament about the lack of time to do what I want during busy days. I longed for a break and just some spare time to do some reading or simply relax. But now that I have a lot of time on my life, I find myself being anxious and fretting over it. I NEED THINGS TO DO. Well, I do have some things to do but I am still semi-productive at best.
I need a job.
I like to feel productive and to be learning and doing new things everyday. Feeling guilty that I’m just .. sitting around most of the days. But I guess a lot of things are also about timing and patience and I should stop rushing. I rushed too much and ended up worse.
At least I have control over my own time now so I should just look at the benefits and fill my time with things to do.
- improve my Japanese (or whatever’s left of it)
- work on the ebook – i guess you guys forgot I was working on one? my bad
- stop spending my whole life in front of the comp
- make more videos / podcasts
- continue to get better in Korean onmyown
- earn money and look for a job

18 September, 2013 at 3:56 PMThis sounds like me…kind of started learning Korean earlier this year to fill in some time (as well as for enjoyment). Also need to find a job. soon.

It’s encouraging to now that I’m not the only one with “When I have time, I don’t have money; when I have money, I don’t have time” complaints.

19 September, 2013 at 6:45 PMWell now you just have to complete your list lol. Maybe just be more specific like what kind of physical activity etc youre doing. I’m getting the vibe you’re alluding to exercise. Maybe also include stretching.

21 September, 2013 at 9:24 AMJust spent a couple of months job hunting, I tell you the market is baaad…for my sector at least. It was a real trying time for me. I had lists of things I wanted to do but no motivation 🙁 What kind of job are you looking for? I can keep my ears and eyes open for you. In these times, connection and referrals are a lot more effective…

21 September, 2013 at 9:34 AMI forsee myself spending a couple of months too, particularly since I’m not experienced ><; Trying to focus on the present and do things while I still have time, but like you said, not much motivation since my mind is always thinking about other stuff. Will email you in a bit, really appreciate it! ^^

21 September, 2013 at 1:32 PMHaha, I’m the same way. I’ve noticed that I need to be active and accomplish things and can’t have too many of those days where I laze around in bed.
Yay, you’re still writing the e-book! 😀 I remembered it a while ago and was wondering where you were with it, but I’m glad to know you’re still working on it. ^^
