Was invited for an exclusive premiere screening of OCN korean drama HERO today, which is coming to Singapore!!! 😀 If you don’t know, I’m a super huge fan of OCN dramas, which includes God’s Quiz, TEN and Vampire Prosecutor. I’m still waiting for my TEN part two.
HERO is their latest offering and I’m actually happy that Singapore is actually broadcasting it. Time to show everyone a different side of k-dramas. OCN is a cable TV in Korea and the dramas they produced are relatively short (around 10 ep) and they have a ‘movie quality’ to it. So expect thrillers, action scenes, beautiful visuals, interesting plots etc. Now, Singaporeans can see that k-dramas is not just about the fluff and romance.
I’m not spoiling the plot for you. Let’s just say it contains a lot of action scenes, good-for-nothing elite turned superhero, kiss-ass female cop, politics, murder cases.

We watched the first 2 episodes just now in the screening and it was AWESOME. 😀 Kinda reluctant to get out of my seat after the screening. Can’t wait to finish the rest of the episodes!
First time I attended a screening and it was fun. Photo wall!! 😀 We could take photos with the models and have it printed on the spot for us ^^ Adds a nice touch to the event. My plus one doesn’t want me to post the photo online, so sorry guys!

Good news! On 23rd September at 9pm, Rain: The Best Show will be broadcasted on SingTel mio TV ch 52 & Starhub Cable TV Ch 868 (Celestial Movies) and this is the first TV broadcast in the world. Singapore is getting more up to date with kpop 😛
