Effortless. Effort. Time.

Time is a curious thing. It makes you forget, it dilutes emotions and feelings.

It distorts memories too.

Sometimes I don’t think I put in much effort, but when I look back, it does seem like I have put in hard work and hence achieved something.

At other times, I used to think that I put in my best (할만큼 했다) but in the end, it feels like I didn’t put in enough.

hahaha I am thinking too much again.

In any case, I have started studying Korean again, thanks to the books that twoChois sent me!

When I first looked at the book, I thought it’ll be really difficult since it’s about business Korean. However, I was quite surprised that it’s actually paced as an introductory book to business Korean and the passages chosen are not like insanely long, convoluted articles. Which at first I find disappointing (haha I like my books super challenging). BUT. Come to think of it, it’s a good thing, since what learners need is a bridging resource that allows them to get a basic understanding of business Korean – the convoluted stuff can be found online or in books anyway.

So thumbs up.

I was quite surprised at how I managed to work though the chapters with ease (I took about an hour or less for one chapter). Then again, my problem was never with reading but speaking and writing. I can read the passages, but can’t produce it -___- heh

Funny thing is that I already know most of the terms (in the chapters I’ve done so far). I have no idea where I picked them up from o.O

I’ll put the book at TOPIK Level 4-5. (:
