I’ve been wanting to try the restaurant since I heard about it in Korea. Walked past the Apgujeong outlet several times and my friends will always point out the place to me, raving about the good food and how the garlic doesn’t smell!
Still no chance to try it in Korea but finally went to the outlet at Suntec City! (In case you didn’t know, it’s actually an Italian Bistro from Korea – best of both worlds, in my opinion)
I’m not a garlic fan but I loveeed the food!
First off, drinks! Hehe I’m a hugeee fan of ades and it’s basically my go-to drink in cafes. Lemon-ade, 자몽에이드 *loves*
Mad for Garlic has WINEADE AND YOOJAADE. Omgggggggg. Wineade is red wine and the yoojaade has yooja bits in it omg. The yooja ade reminds me of my favorite highball drink in Japan (basically yooja mixed with suntory wiskey- mad love). Heh I’m basically a fan of all things alcoholic ahem.
Heh people rave about food, i prefer the drinks. Singapore needs to have cafes that serves such drinks! Or maybe i just need a bottle of wiskey and a jar of yooja….
Food was good, especially the pizza. The garlic snowing pizza (or something along the lines) is deserving of its reputation. Surprisingly good in fact.
Some mushroom and chicken risotto. Spicy.
Clam and Seafood pasta. Spicy too. Hahaha typical Korean-style.
I’m glad we shared though. The pasta and risotto were good, but I don’t think i want to finish either by myself.
Shared a tiramisu cake for dessert. Mmm pretty decent, but I like my tiramisu soaked in alcohol, so this was not impressive.
All in all, a decent meal, made better with the awesome company.
If you are in Korea, please go to their outlets and tell me how it is! I bet it’s even more awesome. All the pasta that I had in Korea beat the ones in Singapore hands-down. Cheaper too.. Heh.
