제 26회 한국어능력시험 성적 발표 날!!
7:30 It’s early in the morning now and I just realized that today is D-day. lol.
7.45: erm shit I think I forgot my ID for the test!!!! There’s no ID/PWD 찾기 as far as I know…
8.30: Mmm I remember the almost all now…. 1901xxyyyy. hahahaha. Missing the xx
10.30: I assume that the missing digits are the level digits…
11.00: AWESOME. I’m smart. Asked around for those who took the beginner/intermediate paper. 10 for beginner, 20 for intermediate… 30 for advanced? 😀
2.15: As my colleague kindly reminded me, 45 more mins!!! One of those rare days I wished I was in Singapore. We will get the results at 2pm SGT instead 😛 Will type again later on. Can’t blog long stuff in the office!
2.45: Agony. I don’t like to wait. Did I mention that I’m doing another interview with another tech startup CEO in the late evening? And I have something important on tomorrow. Might blog about it 😛 Or might not.
2.48: I AM SO RESTLESS.
2.59: Okay~ time to face reality. 😛
3.05: MEH. TOPIK site is slow. If they give a time, they should stick to it.
3.07: WHEEEE!
Unexpected results. Didn’t think I will pass. And didn’t expect to do decently in 쓰기 and not so decently in 읽기. And I missed 6급 by 2.75 marks (I think you need average 70 across all sections). LOL
Okay. Time to get back to work! 😀 Might add on to this entry tonight when I have time!
UPDATE!
Passing TOPIK is something that is unexpected and I really wonder how I could have gotten almost 70 on the writing section. Strange. I will be taking the test again this Sep/Oct (?) and will be aiming for a Level 6. Not sure if I can do it, but I want to.
Did another interview today in Korean. But I spoke terribly. D: Something important going on tomorrow, I must make sure that my Korean tomorrow will be at its very best.

4 June, 2012 at 3:17 PMAmazing! 고급 must be really hard. I live in Indonesia, they only have TOPIC for menial workers sent to work in South Korea, so I can’t take the test here. But I’ve seen the questions on the internet, I don’t think I would pass even if I could take it. Thanks for the motivation. 저도 한국어 공부 열심히 할게요.

5 June, 2012 at 3:01 AMおめでとう〜〜！Ok, this completely does not fit the fact you did the Korean Language proficiency exam, but that was the first thing that came to my mind. (Probably because I’m more used to saying the Japanese version of congratulations). But I digress….
I knew that you would pass 고급 … how could you not? And I think your time in Korea will be the best language school for you.
I kind of regret not taking at least the beginner’s exam this year, but hopefully next year April I will take the Intermediate on. Your success on your Korean self-learning journey has been one of the motivating factors for me!! 😀
