Pleased to meet you. I am Shanna. I am a student of Hougang Japanese School. My Japanese lessons starts from 10am to 12pm. I am learning Korean too.

우와.. 4 언어로 할 줄 알면 너무 멋있죠! ㅋㅋ 근데 한국어를 아직도 서투르고 일본어를 간단한 말밖에 모르겠어요. ㅋㅋ 노력학게요. 나중에 꼭 4 언어를  다 할 수 있어요. 화이팅!

저는 언어 배우는 것이 정말 좋아해요. I think I finally found what I enjoy doing and learning (:

I shall blog about languages in another post. hmm I need to practice writing more often. I think my reading skills are better ><

I have loads to talk about regarding learning jap and korean at the same time. But I shall leave that for another post. It’s 9.53pm now and my fav show is coming up 😀

다음에 봐요. またね!

haha this is so fun(: hopefully I can write korean and japanese versions of everything soon! 😀

Wow Shanna, you’re so great. I also want to learn Japanese but I think it’s more difficult than Korean. Hiragana and Katakana are hard to learn compared to Hangeul. And don’t forget the Kanji. It’s really complicated.

I don’t have any background in Chinese characters so I don’t know if I will be able to survive Japanese once I started studying it.

    I wish i was still 10. Haha!!

How is it like to study both Korean and Japanese?
I’m actually a bit worried in starting to study Japanese. I’ve been studying Korean only for a few years now. I only have Korean songs on my ipod. I only watch Korean dramas. I have no background in Japanese. No motivation either (the only motivation I can think of is that my fave actress Kim Sun Ah is fluent in Japanese and she wrote a book about Kim Sam Soon in Japanese – if I learn Japanese I can understand her interviews in Japanese and the book that she wrote). But I have no choice since there will be no more Korean classes in our university next semester (there are other languages offered but I don’t like them either). When I start studying Japanese I still want to continue learning Korean. Is it gonna be difficult? Oh stupid question. I know it is going to be difficult! What are the difficulties? I have a seat mate in my Korean class who’s good in Japanese and he keeps complaining about Korean grammar, spelling and is usually confused with words that have similar pronunciation.I’m really glad I met you. I guess it’s not impossible to learn both languages at the same time. And since I’m into it already, I might also learn some basic Chinese 2 years from now. @.@ Me scared with Chinese characters! >.<

confusing at first. but it’s easy since the sentence structure is really similar! i dint have much motivation for japanese at first but after watching a few jap dramas, i grow to like it more. the kanji can be difficult for those who do not know chinese! but i think learning chinese is a good idea too since japanese and korean are highly dependent on chinese words.
