[VIDEO] My Korean book Collection

CAM00025

hehe the best motivation to make videos is a new phone / gadget LOL. Video is shot entirely on LG Optimus G, edited using it and uploaded via my computer. ^^

Ahh I feel awkward speaking in English in videos. Cos I keep thinking that I’ll be judged HAHAHA I usually don’t know what I’m talking about in videos and just keep rambling on. ><;; With grammatical mistakes and weird pronunciation. I found out that I can’t really switch from English to Korean in a single sentence. My Korean will have a stronger English accent that way 😛

The video is gonna take 202 mins to upload wtf. #whyihatemakingvideos

Video below cut!

I’m not a big fan of making videos because they take up too much time and too much effort :/ hehe so please show it some love and leave a comment if you watch it!! ^____^ I’ll also love to have video request!

p.s. I’m listening to the video now as I’m typing this and I think I talked a lot of rubbish ><;;;;

Nice video!! I saw it the other day actually ^^ the quality is pretty nice on there! I know what you mean about the uploading videos ㅠㅠ my upload is soooooo much slower compared to my download speed 🙁 how big was this video like 2gb? i hope you will keep making more videos in future though 😀

Anyways, I think we all tend to ramble videos since they are on the spot. Even if we plan it, we probably just end up just making it up as we go haha. I think you’re just over-thinking things 😛 I know my girlfriends tends to do that a lot so maybe don’t think so hard about it (easier said than right? :P) I doubt most of us are the grammar police checking on Shanna’s English lol, and weird pronunciation? Do you have an example of what you mean? I think everyone in the world has a different way of pronouncing certain words in English. So don’t hang your head over it. Haha I wish I could get rid of my American accent when speaking Korean.

    Keep up the hardwork! 수고해요!

700MB! If it was 2G I can go to bed already. 😛 I’m terribly impatient and 200 mins was already a torture hehe I made another video with the Optimus G and will be uploading … next time 😛

hehehe I just think I have some tense mistakes!

Haha definitely know how you feel 😛 great!! looking forward to it already 😀 Also I saw someone else talking about compressing file size and maximizing quality, if you also need some tips on that. I would be glad to help on that also!

Maybe you’re just thinking in korean where the tense of all the verbs just matters at the end 😛 but seriously, I didn’t hear any tense mistakes! it’s okay it’s sad when people don’t understand me at a store and i was born in america.. like today i went to go buy a fruit tart for my girlfriend’s friend’s birthday and the lady couldn’t understand what i was saying ._. and so i had to speak to the cashier. Ever have any those kinds of moments? You should make a blog post about those kinds of language situations 😀

I really enjoyed watching this video! You’ve got a lot of interesting Korean books. As for your accent, it’s no big deal. Everyone has an accent when they speak. I like hearing your Singaporean English accent. It reminds us that there’s more than just the American/British/Australian ones.

Wow!!! Your video is very nice and interesting. I am also impressed by your bookshelf which is really neat and full of wonderful books. I like your bookshelf of Korean very much. Most of my books are photocopies, so I wish I could afford to buy original books like you ^^

Hi, I am getting addicted to your posts hehehe.
They give me a big push to continue studying.
I am Moroccan, French is one of my first language, so when I speak english I have this french accent and believe me it’s the weirdest english accent ㅋㅋㅋ
Everyone has his own accent which gives a precious value to his culture and background.
I hope you will continue making videos like this, I really enjoyed it.
You should spread your korean passion to the whole world.
    Have a good day.

What program are you using to edit your videos? There are tricks to minimize your file size and maximize for internet viewing, both of which will lessen your upload time. Unless your internet provider is just slow. You can’t really do much to avoid that. Shoot me an email if you’re interested in discussing further (I went to school for this.)

To me, that’s a lot of books =P
I personally don’t have very many English books because I don’t have money, much less Korean books ㅠㅠ
When I have money, the Big Bang book is high on my (imaginary) list of books to buy! Along with more textbooks. All I have now are the TTMIK textbooks, which are great, but I like seeing how all the different publishers/authors lay out their books and explain things. It’s also interesting to see what concepts they consider necessary for each level and how it changes from series to series.

Hi! Thanks for the video ^_^ It’s really useful, I’m hoping to save up and do a G-Market order sometime. Seeing them in ‘real life’ is so useful ^^ Your blog is great~

Your accent is really good, everything you said was totally clear. Actually when I was listening I thought your first language was English! ㅋㅋ
