10 In Korean learning journey (:

Updates~

Sorry for the awful lack of updates these days! My laptop is dying and to prevent a total crash at the most inconvenient time, I decided to get a new one! Decided to stick to apple again and I got an iMac!!! 😀 😀 I’m gonna stay loyal to apple from now on. Sony told me that they will prob charge $600 to repair my laptop -.- (which is around 3 yrs old!)

Loving the iMac screen. And i can drool at the desktop constantly (my T.O.P wallpaper ^^)

Sorely missed Windows live writer and I was trying to look for a good alternative these few days. Decided to try scribefire and this is my first post on it!
But since it’s an extension on firefox, I can’t blog when I’m offline.

Upcoming posts:
1. Review of the new grammar dictionary
2. Guide on Korean restaurants in Singapore
3. Review of the Yonsei 읽기 textbook 6급
4. any suggestions? ^^

Hi, been reading your site for quite some time already.

yup i’m from ntu. but i couldnt take korean there since they only offer up to Level 3. I have many friends who are taking it right now and it seems like it’s pretty fun. But it’s not an intensive course, so by the end of level 3, you should be able to pass the TOPIK elementary exam.

Oh okay. Thank you! It’s only up to TOPIK basic? I wish they can make it to at least TOPIK intermediate. I took korean at other institution before, for about 4.5months? Not intensive at all. I dont know whether i can still take their classes or not. I know that i cant go for level 1 for sure because must declare that i have not learn korean before.

Hi, I’m currently studying in NTU and am undecided about taking Korean level 3 there. I want to know roughly the kind of grammar etc that will be taught at that level. I’m hoping you’ll be able to shed some light on that? Thanks!

      Hi Fel~!

I have no idea since I’ve never taken Korean classes at NTU before. But from what I’ve heard, everything is still very easy. Prob just a little beyond TOPIK 2 standard
