16 In Japanese learning journey (:

Studying!!

20120723-114617.jpg

What I’m reading right now. One week left of Seoul, and all I’m doing is stay at home and study Japanese. Oh well. I’m happy. Watched Dark Knight Rises yesterday!!! Went to the theatre at exit 1 on Chungmuro station. Love it!! 9,000won for a weekend ticket and it’s not as crowded as a CGV!! The seats are comfy and the screen is big! ^^ No point going to those huge CGV and be pissed off by crowds, waiting times and noisy theatres (:

The movie was awesomeeee!

Ahhhhh, I need to work harder on my Korean!!!

    Because
    Your Korean >> My Japanese
    Your Japanese >> My Korean

Wow… Your Japanese, too, must be really good! I feel ashamed of myself 🙂 Having studied Chinese for 4 years and Japanese for a year a few years back, I can’t enjoy language learning like before any more… Maybe I’m too used to studying in a forced setting 🙂 Any ideas on how to motivate myself? I want to pick up some German and Spanish while I live there this year.

haha i’m just a beginner xD mm for me I just watch dramas etc to get myself more immersed and more interested in the language xD Personally, I think it’s easier if you treat it as a hobby and not too focused on the goal that you need to be fluent asap. ^^

Thank yo for your quick answer! ^^

The last 2 years I went through げんき I – II (I had also some homework from 皆の日本語, but I enjoyed げんき more), 日本語チャレンジ (which I found really useful for N4), and after I went to Japan I started studying from these (still in progress but they seem to be good until now):

        – どんなときどう使う日本語表現文型 500 (it contains the grammar in Korean and Chinese as well! ^^)
        – Shadowing (this one is in 4 languages, like the one above)
        – Read real Japanese (bilingual with CD, I enjoy listening to it, even though it is a little bit difficult now)
        – A Dictionary of Intermediate / Advanced Japanese Grammar (LOVE these!)
        – Writing letters in Japanese
        – How o tell the difference beween Japanese Particles
        – Kanji in Context (I enjoy learning Kanji online more but this book makes it fun without my computer as well^^)

Right now I am on the search for some good Mandarin and Korean language books.. But I suppose I will find a bunch of information here on your blog X) /笑
