#slangoftheday Twitter/Facebook series

안뇽~~!! As a last ditch effort for myself to learn more slang and also to share some of Korean’s interesting and the latest slangs with you guys, I’m posting one slang 유행어/ 신어 a day on both the Facebook page and Twitter!! 😀 Hashtag is #slangoftheday not many people uses it so yup you should be able to see all the slangs I posted!

Why learn Slangs?

They are guaranteed to impress your Korean friends 😛 Even knowing something simple like 짱 or 헐 ㅋㅋㅋ

I want to improve my blog but I have no ideas what to do with it. The e-book is coming along … slowly. hahahaha. I need more motivation from you guys 😛

Thanks for the Slangs. Will be helpful to teach us how and when to use them.

Just a note to improve your blog. Maybe it will be a good idea to separate Korean and Japanese learning journals? Since the readers are rather different.

Clips, images, photographs, illustrations, Korean folk songs related to each blog’s topic may help to add colours to your journals.

    Cheers!

thanks ling!! 😀 will try to do that within the twitter limit 😛 I dont think I’ll be able to keep up with one full blog post on that everyday. Maybe I’ll expand the explanation on the facebook page!

And thanks for the feedback! I’m thinking (AGAIN for the nth time) whether to switch the blog to a self hosted wordpress. May need to ask my friend if she can host me again (like with selfstudykorean.com)

      ^^

To be honest, I love your blog as it is 😀 I’m mainly studying Japanese, however, you really inspired me to do something to improve my Korean as well.

Shanna, what is the name of your FB page? Or can you put in a link? I found more than a few Shanna Tan’s when I searched FB.
    Thanks!

Okay, I “woke up” and found the link conveniently located on your web page. Guess I need more tea… Please keep the slangs coming—I never see these in textbooks.
