5 In Japanese learning journey (:/ N2 Journey

N2 ジャーニー, スタート!

Now that my N3 journey is technically over, it’s time for a new category: N2 journey.

I’m finally back to studying Japanese! ❤ Well, I’m not exactly studying to prepare for N2 and hence the category is a misnomer, but I’m hoping to categorize my posts into different learning stages and I guess  using JLPT levels will make it neater.

Receiving the N3 results jolted my memory on how much I enjoyed learning languages and how therapeutic it is. Feeling sick these few days – bad cough, constant headache and feverish. Woke up to find myself unable to do anything today, so decided to spend the entire day on languages. Well… do it while I still can? (:

So what I did today was … study Japanese and watch anime. HAHA. The best form of therapy.

Learnt several new grammar structures, made some progress in the “An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese” book. At Chapter 12 now, 3 more chapters to go before I am ready to review the book. Or did I already do so? mm.

Reaching the last pages of my Japanese notebook, so started using a new one! Wrote in a few Japanese grammar points and I think I managed to make some progress today. Found a new grammar database online (hehehe) and will introduce that another time!

    you like engrish? I personally HATE engrish in korean and in japanese. for korean i hate the word fighting and edgey. For Japanese I hate friendly, care, follow and lots more. it just makes me shuddder go ewwwwwww since i speak english

      heh i guess you are talking about loanwords? I’m actually fine with them, since I see it as part of the language (Korean/Japanese) instead of English.

        hmmm not necessarily loan words I would say. Sometimes they don’t have to use the english word because there’s a perfectly fine word in japaense but they still do. I find it ridiculous and annoying.
        i meant フレンドリー シビアー ケア フォロー  by friendly, care, follow in case it wasn’t clear.

          basically when they overuse english words.
