Korean fashion makes it first step to New York with an fashion showroom at this year’s New York Fashion Week (11 Feb –18 Feb). The fashion showroom will be in the New York Public Library.

Named ‘Concept Korea, fashion collective 2010’, this fashion showroom is unique in that the Korean government is giving direct support and also involves a collaboration with CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America).

This will not only be a great opportunity to showcase Korean culture and fashion but also be a stepping stone for aspiring Korean designers to enter into the international market.

Concept Korea’s opening party will be held today and invited guests include fashion designers, celebrities etc. Korean superstar Rain and music stylist Coleman Feltes will be performing for the opening ceremony.
