omg I can’t believe that I’ve been in Korea for nearly a week! >.< it feels too fast! Been walking alot since Day 1 and by yesterday, I’ve reached my limit! Lessons started today and I decided that I shall stop tiring myself out excessively.
I wanted to write an entry everyday about my life here, but decided against it since I won’t have time to blog everyday.
I conclude that Yonsei sells everything –.- haven’t tried this though. I had the 서울 우유 and the weirdly shaped 바나나 우유!! I finally drank banana milk! You may recall that I blogged about the milk before and said that it was one of the things i wanna try in Korea!
Recognize this place? ^^
hint: it’s the filming area for one of the dramas showing currently!
It’s the cafe where they film Coffee House and there is an entertainment agency on the left side of the cafe. (not pictured). They were having an audition when I was there, but dint see anything much. The atmosphere was really lovely though! For those who are interested, it’s in 압구정!
Been to a few other places like 인사동, 부암동, 명동, 코엑스 etc so far!
Day 6:
Had my placement test for the Korean language classes. The written test went well except for the last 2nd page, where it was tough! The passage on the last page was readable, which was surprising. Given that it should be the advanced level. >.< (the questions go from easy to tough as you progresses)
The interview was more of a FAIL. I’m not that fluent orally, but the questions were tough. Those that I doubt I will have much to say about even in English.
Q: Do you have any interest in politics? Do you know anything about politics? (in korean)
A: ermmm. i’m not really interested. err i dunno?

Day 7: getting my placement test results at noon! I’ve been writing this post for a day already. oops. time to publish it! ^^ will update again soon~~!

1 July, 2010 at 10:36 PMi don’t know where you’re from or if they have it, but i was so happy to discover drinkable yogurt…also there is a ginseng drink kept in the heated cases near the registers of convenience stores…i think it’s called 상화, it’s been a while since i’ve had it, but it tastes like apple pie.
