In love with Dramanote!!! :D

hahaha a quick post before I retire for the night. I’m having soooooo much fun studying Japanese from dramas and dramanote!! 😀 I’ve talked about the site in another post before but I still wanna say how much I enjoy studying with it! 😀 Watch one ep of the drama and come back to see the notes. Or the other way round works too. I’m actually rewatching 花より男子 series these days and I’m watching the second season now.

Gosh I can’t believe that I used to say that the Japanese version.. is not as nice. ><;; I’m a total convert now, although I still have a soft spot for the Taiwanese version, which I rewatched like… at least 5 times? lol I think my childhood is hana yori dango. >< I first watched the anime series and totally fell in love with it ^^

I’m now studying Japanese with 花より男子2(リターンズ) 第1話 and omgggg I can understand quite a lot!! 😀 It helps that I’ve a pretty good memory of the lines in the drama and I still remember the intonation and the way it’s said. And I’ll kinda connect what I hear and what I read. 😀 So learning new vocabulary is less of a problem. Sometimes I’ll remember the pronunciation from the drama and at times, searching up the word reminds me of the lines in the drama. Do I make sense? lol it’s almost 1am now. What happened to wanting to sleep early? ^^;;

「ありえないっつーーのーーー!!」

Hehe I’m at the 2nd ep for the RMPW notes and now that I’m starting on ep 1 for HYD, I’ll have two drama series notes on hand! Hopefully I can finish both by the end of the year and then I’ll challenge myself to 【白夜行】!!

Okay, is that too ambitious? 【BOSS】【ホタルノヒカリ】?

hehehe. I’m so exciteddddddd.

Who would have known that I’ll be such a language geek? I certainly don’t.. not until a few years ago. ^^

Seriously, I want to spread the joy of language learning lolol 😀

Are you having fun with your languages?

    ” I want to spread the joy of language learning”

    You are successfully spreading the joy and also the ‘virus’. And now I’m interested to learn Japanese too!! Should I?ㅋㅋㅋ I once told myself that I will not learn Korean coz I like Japanese more. Even my friend said that I do not entertain her request to watch Shinhwa MV during our 1st year in univ. which now things seem happen the other way around . Aigoo~

    Thats how much I pride over my obsession on Japanese. I have learnt Japanese during my secondary time. But stop when I entered boarding school. From your posts, seems there are more Japanese language resources compared with Korean. That makes me wanna learn Japanese again…maybe after I improved my Korean…

    Anyway, keeps blogging. Everytime I saw your post, I’m kinda ” I should improved my Korean in 4 years like her too.” HAHAHA ^^

      hehe go for it! 😀 language learning is kinda unexpected. Just follow your interests and if you feel like doing Japanese again, go for it XD hehe I used to scoff at kpop and kdramas too. Those were the days when I was hopelessly addicted to taiwanese dramas.

      i’ll keep on blogging. keep on reading 😀 😀 hehe.

    Hi, I love your website!!! And I know you probably get this a lot, but didn’t you just start studying Japanese a month or two ago? How did you get so good so fast? And could you make a more detailed video on how you started your language journals? I’m a complete beginner, and I’m just really lost on what to do -_- Any tips?

      hello! I started self studying Japanese on Jan 2012 😀 I did have sooooommme very very basics in Japanese before but Jan 2012 is when I really start being invested in the language. I think knowing Korean helps and also I’m ‘experienced’ in language learning. That being said, I don’t think I’m progressing very fast ^^;;

      Okay I shall go dig out my old notebooks and make a detailed post / video! mmm for a beginner, learn the hangeul first. and try out the sogang online program. That gives you some form of grounding and following the program will keep you from feeling lost.

      p.s. it’s normal to feel lost ^^ I started out the same way too. but that’s what makes language learning so fun and exciting.
