The first month is always the most expensive. I’m going to sink into money-depression soon. But I guess it’s all essential. Kinda.
Made the essential trip down to Daiso and bought all sorts of things for 30,000won. I guess it’s worth it, since each item is like 1,000 – 2,000won, with a few at 3,000won. So I bought 19 items in total. Things like washing detergent, kitchen towels, detergent, sponge, bathroom cleaning supplies, scissors, utensils etc.
And bathroom slippers.
I NOW HAVE THE QUESSENTIAL KOREAN SLIPPERS.
And yes, that’s my bathroom floor.
Bought a pair of flats too, and this brings my total shoe count to 3: flip flops, sports shoes and flats. HAHA. I think it’s enough. Who cares about making a fashion statement
Dinner was a sad affair alone, but I have learnt the art of picking the right place to eat so that nobody will stare at you. Hint: 분식집 or restaurants selling food in individual portions.
JUNO HAIR happened to be opposite so I decided to get a hair cut. I ended up getting something more hehe but now I have nice hair (which my friend pointed out as a first ㅎㅎ) The stylist and the assistant were really good and they are so nice to give me free treatment I think being a foreigner that speaks good Korean helped!
I’ll blog more about going to the salon next time, and will introduce the stylist and assistant too!! Highly recommended cos the stylist (female) is really damn efficient and good and detailed and friendly. And the assistant (a guy) is really good at doing straightening (magic)! So if you are looking for a nice salon with good stylists, go to them!!!
Till next post
