Now that I have moved to a nicer 고시텔 where my mind is at peace, I’ve decided to start cooking in the kitchen. ^^ I’ll post photos of my 고시텔 next time, but I like it here very much. The kitchen is clean and I feel that I can use the bowls and utensils with relative ease. I buy my own pot/pan and my own sponge for washing the dishes though. ^^
Most 고시텔s provide free eggs, kimchi, ramen, rice and I love the eggs here. They are big 😀 😀 Unlike my previous place where the eggs are small and sometimes look like they are past their expiry date -.- The eggs here are kept in a big fridge.
I’ve only started cooking today and here’s 2 non-fuss recipes. I don’t think they will work for everyone. I can eat really blandly ^^
Here’s my stash of food.
Recipe 1: Noodles (국수)
Step 1: Slice 3 clusters of broccolli and soak
Step 2: Wash and slice the mushroom
Step 3: boil the water and add in the brocolli and the noodles
Step 4: add in the mushroom
Step 5: Add the egg last min and off the stove
hahaha total fuss free right? I can’t even be bothered with seasoning. xD Like I said, I eat really blandly at times, you can tweak the recipe as you want. Everything done with 10min~! ^^
The ramen pot cooks everything really fast! And it’s cheap too, at 3000won.
Step 1: soak the 미역 in water
Step 2: slice the mushrooms
Step 3: Add oil in the pan and fry both the 미역 and mushrooms. Season with soy sauce
Step 4: Crack 2-3 eggs
Step 5: Add in the rice before the eggs are fully cook and mix everything
Step 6: serve in a bowl
hahahaha another fuss free recipe. xD
Do share any fuss free recipes 😀 I think I may make 미역국 next time (my own style) but I need garlic. and I’m lazy to get the unpeeled ones and peeled ones will be more expensive.
I can’t believe I didn’t start cooking earlier. ^^
As the weather gets colder, I get less motivated to go out. I’ll probably be cooking more often!
As for breakfast, I eat bread with a slice of cheese and tomatoes on the side! ^^
I think I may have a yoghurt now! 😀
