It’s JUNE. JUNE. JUNE and I’m damn busy. ><; Spent the entire morning working on my half-done presentation slides and I finally finished a draft. But the longer I spent at it, the more freaked out I get because it has 40+ slides. At the rate I was going, I could have enough material for a one-hour lecture lol. Granted, most slides consists of photos (hehe the nature of my research allows that) and figures ㅋㅋㅋ
I haven’t tested it out to see how well I’ll do in terms of keeping to the time limit of 20 mins, shall leave that for tomorrow (weekends are gone)
Here’s a sneak peak, which isn’t much lol.
hehe this is cool right? 😀 The signs on the left are in Insadong. The brand names that are written in English everywhere else are in the Hangeul script! It’s to preserve the Korean heritage and culture in the area, afterall it’s a traditional arts/culture street. There’s a lot more cosmetic / global stores there these days but most of the cosmetic stores seem to be located in the inner streets and the main (outer?) Insadong street is still more art galleries, traditional shops etc!
This is taken in Sinsadong. Trying to show how English is dominant in the streets there 😀
LOL not much of a preview or a tease but that’ll do.
It looks like I’ll be blogging for The Korea Blog for the next year, got the email saying that I’m selected as one of the 2013 Worldwide Korea Bloggers. Hopefully it’ll be an interesting experience and I’ll get to blog more “professionally” and take care to write more coherently. Just contributing a few articles every now and then over there, so I’m going to continue blogging at Hangukdrama as per normal! 😀
Then again, I’m really busy in June so I may blog lesser!
Now I need to eat lunch and relaxxxxx.
Happy weekends people!
