[Audio Blog] 만약에 ….

I’M BACK WITH AN AUDIO BLOG! ㅋㅋㅋ

Sorry it has to be in caps because I haven’t done one for ages (or so it seems).

Today’s audio blog centers around the theme “만약”. If you are interested in what I have to say, click and listen!! ^^

I have to say that I sound horrible in some parts. ><;; Can’t pronounce some words properly, getting stuck in some sentences and having funny intonation in other bits. Feels like I’ve kinda forgotten how to speak Korean O.o oh well, I’m meant to learn from these mistakes!

Still reading the Japanese novel these days. ^^ I’m falling in love with 東野圭吾’s writing. ❤ Shall get another book after I’m done with this! Probably 卒業 from the Kyoichiro Kaga series.

How’s everyone doing for Korean / other languages that you are learning?

Will be nice to hear from others, so feel free to share! ^^

    hi shanna, Im learning Korean now. Just starting, hmmnn Im wondering when did you start to be able to read Korean Novel? I meant, How long it took you be able to read a novel after starting learning Korean? I still focusing on hangeul, memorizing all the alphabet, but when I have to face word in hangeul, it took me a while to read the word. I read hangeul even slowly that a snail 😀

    I enjoy your Korean audio blog!! ^^ Good stuff, and I actually knew what 만약 was yay hahaha.. But I understood bits and pieces of it so maybe I’m improving? Who knows. I wish there was a transcript, but I know that would be super time consuming ><;

    Actually I feel like I have seen improvement reading in Korean! I was talking with a new person I met on a site, and there were afraid to speak English so there was a lot of Korean. I felt overwhelmed at first just looking at the message, but when I actually took the time to read the content. I actually understood most of it! ^^ But then since she was a Korean history major, she started to talk about Korean history in Korean(which is really interesting) but then I had to look up vocabulary but it was cool learning about some Korean history in Korean! But I feel like my reading skills have improved some so I feel good about that. But I have finals ㅠㅠ so not cool lol..

    I’ve been studying by myself for 8 months. I spend about 5 hours a week studying. I still can’t understand what you say in this blog, I . I only catch few words here and there. I still have a long way to go. You’re really good! Thank you for your awesome blog.

    You’re so good at Korean! Have you ever considered becoming a translator/interpreter? ^^

    Oh, I agree with Van in that it would be so awesome if you could add transcripts to these! Listening is the most difficult area for me and my listening comprehension skills need a lot of work. I hope you’ll think about it!

      Thanks for listening! Will have to think about it. Usually I record these randomly, which means that I don’t actually think much about what I want to say / prepare in advance. Adding a transcript will means that I’ll have to either write it out beforehand and read it out (which defeats the purpose of impromptu speech) or I have to transcribe myself later on (… ><)
