And hopefully a lot wiser.
Birthday wishes:
- to have a good year ahead
- to be happy, healthy and contented
- to be calm and composed at all times
Life works in funny ways, but there is always something to be learnt everyday.
This blog has seen me through a good number of years of my life; the times where I’m carving out my own identity, figuring out what I enjoy doing and what to do in life and piecing together the puzzle of life.
It’s always a journey of growth and development. While I can’t be sure if I’ve definitely found an answer, I think I’m getting really close to it this year.
I’m grateful for the opportunities I had this year and for people who showed unwavering confidence in me. I might not have expressed it, but it meant a lot to me. (:
Been sitting on a piece of news too. There’s also something coming up very soon that I’m excited about, an opportunity that I worked hard for. I can’t say for now if it’s definitely the answer I’m looking for, but I’m going to give it my best shot and see where it takes me.
For now, happy birthday to me!

14 November, 2016 at 3:52 AMHappy birthday Shana! You posts also mean a lot to us (to me at least) and although I haven’t been around for too long, it feels like it’s been years and like I’ve been growing and unraveling my identity alongside with you, even if it were in different ways. Cheers to both of us on this special day and a very merry unbirthday to me~

17 November, 2016 at 6:35 AMI was reading an old entry you had written years ago that’s listed in your list of helpful relevant blog entries. it was the one about people wanting to only learn korean that’s useful for learning kdramas. i was thinking that being able understand a kdrama 100% effortlessly is a sign of fluency at least in comprehension for korean. I was wondering where you are at that now.
