Firstly, I’ll like to thank every single one of you who is still reading this blog :). I have been terrible at updating this space for the past year and I’m thankful to see people still sticking to this blog. It’s been a great source of support and motivation for me :). If you are here, please leave a comment (even though it’s so uncommon to see comments on blogs these days..).
2017 has been a special year, and a particularly busy one. In general, I had learnt a lot this year and went beyond my comfort zone in many areas. It was definitely challenging and while I’m very grateful as I looked back into the year, the struggles and tough times were real too. Still, I’m very grateful for each of the experiences that I was able to have and thankful for the great bunch of people around me. 🙂
In terms of language learning, the latter half of 2017 was about learning to face things head-on and taking baby steps again back into the desired direction. It’s not easy to admit to myself that 9 years into learning the language, I find myself more lost than ever. I’m not as good as I would like to be, yet I’m not bad. I’m progressing, but yet I could (and should) do more. hahaha is this the woes of being a perfectionist? It’s funny, I’m actually not a perfectionist at all in other aspects of my life, yet I constantly want to do better when it comes to the Korean language.
I also want to be more active in blogging and vlogging again 🙂 Please subscribe to my channel! I’m also back on Twitter again, I missed the conversations I have on Twitter and the interactions with other Korean learners. 🙂
I hope this year has been a good one for everyone too!
Q: Have you been keeping up with language learning?
