After spending around two weeks exclusively on Japanese, I’m beginning to see the charms of Japanese. However, I suddenly felt that I missed Korean so much I’ve decided to switch to studying Korean today. And I pulled out Yonsei Reading 6 and started listening to the CD.
And I’m suddenly hit with the feeling of peace, happiness and 만족감. And I realised that no matter how much I’ll grow to like Japanese, Korean still hold that irreplaceable place in my heart. And once again, I’m in awe of the beauty of the language. It takes a break away from the language to remind myself of my love for Korean.
The other day, I asked a random question on Twitter. How has learning Korean changed you? More than one person said It made me happier. So true. I always feel happier when I’m surrounded by Korean (: And studying Korean is therapeutic for me.
I’m blogging quite alot these days, as you may realised! It’s the privilege of having holidays. Now that I’m probably back in the groove of learning Korean, expect to see more Korean related posts in the coming days! I’ll still spend time on Japanese though, I’m far off from the level where I’ll still be comfortable picking up from where I left it after a few weeks/months.
