ㅎㅎ One of the familiar topics in language learning at the beginner-intermediate level: Understanding the weather forecast.
Brings back so much memories. I still remembered looking at a weather forecast photo in Korean and learning all the related words like 소나기, 맑다, 비 오다, 전국, 지방 etc and then going on to learn the more advanced words like 푹설, 꽃샘추위 etc.
Still remembered the first time I watched a weather forecast on Korean TV. I love the way they do weather forecasts in Korea. The announcers are all sooo pretty! And professional. Really like their voices. And I love how the weather forecast is so animated and interesting! 😛
Now I’m back to learning about weather forecasts. In Japanese. Somehow I always find anything in Japanese a little more difficult.
It’s interesting to see how the weather forecast announcements differ between the 2 countries XD
If you are at the stage of learning weather forecasts in Korean, do youtube some of the related videos and practice your listening skills! ^^
It’s more fun to learn that way.
Who says self studying have to be boring and mundane? (:
